Testimonies of Catholics converts who pray the Rosary – Part two

This post is a continuation of the testimonies of Catholic convert, the daughter of a Pentecostal pastor.

So, sometime later, her son came back on a holiday with a complaint that one of his lecturers threatened to seize their papers in one of his courses. The man alleged that a student made away with his belongings in the laboratory and if those things were not returned, they could as well forget their marks in his course. Her son was of the opinion that if the lecturer carries out his threat, it would aect his result adversely.
She was not amused as they were finding it difficult paying school fees and could not aord to have one of their children having an unnecessary carry-over. She therefore came to the church for advice and was told to do a Novena to Our Lady by praying the fifteen Rosary for niine days.

“There is no sure means of calling down God’s blessings upon the family than the daily recitation of the Rosary.” –

Rosary Novena and Uncommon Favours of the holy Rosary.

While some born and bred Catholics are asking,

“is it in the Bible?”

That is whether praying the Rosary is biblical, this woman, a Catholic convert, went home and instructed all her children that before dinner every day, they would pray fifteen decades of the Rosary for nine days. After the novena, on resumption of school, the problem with the lecturer was not only resolved amicably but also the state government offered him a scholarship for five years. This woman’s joy
knew no bounds because this brought great financial relief to her family. So it appears Prophet Isaiah was referring to some Catholics when he prophesied,

” I was found by those who were not looking for me.”

Concerning the Jews, he says,

,”All day long I held out my hands to welcome disobedient and rebellious people .”

This is because while some Catholics are sceptical about the Rosary, many converts who pray it daily are benetting tremendously from Our Lady’s intercessions.

More Testimonies.

There are so many other uncommon favours God granted to this woman through Our Lady’s intercessions. For instance, her son after graduating, got a job in an oil company. He now lives abroad. Her alcoholic husband became temperate, joined the Catholic Renewal, wedded her in the church and became a member of the intercessory ministry.

Also, she once encountered armed robbers on her way to morning mass but she simply raised her rosary and told them she was going to the church and they left her unharmed. The armed robbers never knew she had a huge sum of money which she planned to take to the market after mass to buy goods to replenish her provision store.
On that fateful day, still recovering from her miraculous
escape, she knelt down throughout the mass. Thanking God through Our Lady for yet another great favour granted her.After the mass, she wanted to go home because she felt she had had enough for the day but later summoned courage and went to the market as earlier planned. She strongly believed it was nothing but a miracle that saved her that morning and this woman has since become a very devoted Catholic. Yet, many born and bred Catholics are yet to benefit from Our Lady’s miraculous intercessions because they have not developed a personal relationship with her by praying their rosary daily. But personally, I am not surprised about her powerful intercessions because Mother Mary, like every good mother, always obtains for her children more their requests.
